Fforest Fawr Geopark Ambassadors are tourism businesses passionate about the Geopark. They will help you to get beneath the skin of the Geopark by steering you towards places where you can explore, understand and enjoy it.
Every Geopark Ambassador is also a National Park Ambassador – each has attended a three day National Park training programme and an additional two day Geopark training programme. You will find that each Ambassador has a special knowledge of this unique place and an ongoing commitment to celebrating it and helping visitors too to get the most from their stay. These Ambassadors have taken time out of their business to make sure they offer outstanding information and service.
The Fforest Fawr Geopark Ambassador scheme was launched in Autumn 2012. The first seven Geopark Ambassadors were accredited in spring 2013. Over 100 have been trained – those who maintain their status currently are listed below with links to their businesses. Watch out too for the growing number of Dark Skies Ambassadors – more and more Ambassadors can talk knowledgeably both about the earth below and the heavens above!
